Welcome to the 100 Black Men of the Upstate, a dedicated chapter of the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. Our mission is to empower African American youth and enhance the quality of life within our communities through mentorship, education, health and wellness, economic empowerment, and leadership development. By providing guidance, resources, and positive role models, we help young men and women navigate challenges, achieve academic success, and develop the skills needed for lifelong success. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, we create opportunities that inspire and uplift our community.

The great social activist Mahatma Gandhi once said "Be the change you want to see in the world." Some 18 years ago a group of visionary men from the upstate of South Carolina came together with that intention in mind. These men were committed to chartering an organization that would bring together the collective talents and expertise of African American men residing in upstate South Carolina.
